Luca is 2 months!

It's hard to believe it's only been two months. At times it feels longer, especially when I'm super exhausted and other times it seems to have gone quickly. Luca is a sweet little guy, he coos at me and smiles all the time. He is a whopping 13.5 pounds and 24" long. Right now he has some pretty bad eczema/baby acne but it is slowly clearing up.He loves to eat, bath time, getting his diaper changed, mom and dad and he poops like a champ. I love him so much and am so thankful for our little family (even when I'm tired and grumpy).

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I'm so thankful that the Light of the world came! Here are some pics from our Christmas Eve. There are a few pics of Chiara in her dress because she looked so cute. Luca was in a Santa outfit..but he was actually too chubby for it! Enjoy our photos.

Luca is already one month old...you can see a little smile in his picture. Chiara is wearing a "Big sister" shirt that was sent to us from my cousin.

Happy Birthday Chiara!

She's 2! We had a small family, Dora themed party.

Luca Daniel is here

After 15 hours of very painful labor and then a surprise c-section because he was butt first, Luca Daniel arrived on 11/11/12 at 7:24 am at 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. He doesn't look much like Chiara who mostly resembles Marc's dad, but Luca does resemble my dad. He is a very sweet boy and we are so thankful that he is healthy and finally here. We have had non stop visits from friends and family wanting to welcome little Luca and help us out in any way they can. I have encountered a few complications with my c-section, as if a c-section isn't a complication enough. I have to however, openly praise my husband. He has been amazing in every way possible. Stepping up in every area from house chores, to taking care of my needs as well as those of Chiara and Luca. He has been so wonderful I can't help but thank God for blessing me with him. No human has ever loved me so consistently or as well as Marc. No matter how stressful or tired we are, he is smiling and gentle and shows great strength during a time that for me has been difficult. The c-section is painful and like I said has brought on some complications, but it also takes me away from time with Chiara, which has been very hard for her too. If you can, please pray for our little family and this big but wonderful transition from 3 to 4. At the hospital
At home
Big sister loves to "home him"
Papa and Nana Jan visited from Colorado for a few days to help out.
More pics to come.....
