My good friend Christy threw me a shower! I am so blessed to have friends like these!I have to admit I don't look my best from being so hot and I have fat face, but I had a great time.

I work with the best ladies. We are a great team!

My awesome friend Maria made these beautiful cakes.

Not only is she a great party thrower, but very creative. She made these for Luca's room. Lions, which go with our theme and verses. Love them.

Katie came from Palm Springs! Can't wait to see the Stahl's again soon.

23 weeks

Happy 4th and more projects

For the 4th we went to a friends house for a pool party and BBQ. Lots of people from church and most of Marc's family were there. It was a fun time.

Marc and a friend from church are done fixing the patio posts. They cut out the rotten wood and replaced it with concrete, while at the same time pitching the patio cover a few inches lower so that we can make it a complete cover one day. Then they reinforced it and Marc painted it. I don't have a picture of the finished product yet.

Friends with babies part 2

The Booth's came by for dinner and water fun! Shari is due any day and we had to get a tummy pic.

# 2 is a boy/Summer Projects

We found out on the 14th that we will be having a boy. We have already painted the spare (which is the blue background in the tummy pic...its not blue anymore)and are on our way to making it a nursery. Marc is still thinking of a name so I have none to share as of yet. So far we have had a lot of fun working on the house and getting many much needed projects accomplished. We have many more to go. Chiara's room has been transformed into a toddler room. I made the bird pillow on her bed and painted the tree on her wall. The birds and owls are decals. Our garden is out of control but we are enjoying the big green leaves and giant sunflowers. Marc has been an amazing wood worker. He made cubbies for my closet and will soon make shelves in his. He has also made a raised bed so that we can have a square foot garden for the Fall/Winter. I'm thankful to say that I have been able to rest this summer and focus on taking care of my home and my family as well as have time to read and pray and it has been so nice. I don't take for granted that we are so blessed and we totally recognize God's hand on our lives. Please enjoy our pictures and leave any fun comments if you would like. (
