# 2 is a boy/Summer Projects

We found out on the 14th that we will be having a boy. We have already painted the spare (which is the blue background in the tummy pic...its not blue anymore)and are on our way to making it a nursery. Marc is still thinking of a name so I have none to share as of yet. So far we have had a lot of fun working on the house and getting many much needed projects accomplished. We have many more to go. Chiara's room has been transformed into a toddler room. I made the bird pillow on her bed and painted the tree on her wall. The birds and owls are decals. Our garden is out of control but we are enjoying the big green leaves and giant sunflowers. Marc has been an amazing wood worker. He made cubbies for my closet and will soon make shelves in his. He has also made a raised bed so that we can have a square foot garden for the Fall/Winter. I'm thankful to say that I have been able to rest this summer and focus on taking care of my home and my family as well as have time to read and pray and it has been so nice. I don't take for granted that we are so blessed and we totally recognize God's hand on our lives. Please enjoy our pictures and leave any fun comments if you would like. (

Easter and other Surprises

So Easter was fun because Chiara could dress up and learn about finding eggs. Can't wait til she understands that Jesus rose and defeated death. Daddy tried to show her although she was more interested in the water fountain.
A surprise is that we are expecting another little buddy in November! They will be exactly 2 years a part! Trusting God big time.

If you keep in touch with us or keep up with our blog you know that 2011 was a tough year...I am looking forward to 2012. With that said God is always good and uses all things for the good of those who love Him but I like new beginnings :)

We have many hopes for this new year and turn to the Lord in prayer as we try to align our will with His. I won't share all of them but one of my hopes is to go 100% in the cloth diapering area.
I have some cloth diapers that were given to us or that I have purchased online (you can buy pre-owned for 1/3 of the cost) and I REALLY want this to be something I do for all my kids...less money, less waste and can be used on all of our kiddos..so I hope it becomes possible :)
We also hope for more kids God willing and hope this year to begin adding to our family. What a blessing children are!
